Friends in Concert on 27 January 2007

Prelude Music will be organising the "Friends in Concert" on the 27th of this month at the Yayasan Tun Hamdan Mini Theatre at 7.30pm. This will be the first concert in 2007 and also first of a series of Friends in Concerts it will be organising. The aims for this series of concerts is to foster a closer tie in between the local musicians and music teachers by sharing their love of music with the public, promoting and raise the music standard and at the same time doing a fund raising for those charity bodies in need of aid.

This coming concert will feature 4 prominent musicians and teachers who will be playing the piano, flutes and guitar with a variety of combination. The concert program will includes music from the Baroque Period till the 20th Century, from Vivaldi to Rachmaninov, from Spanish to Chinese music.

This time the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Monfort Youth Training Centre, Penampang. "Monfort Builds Youth, Builds Nation", the institution is dedicated to the Welfare and Development of Youth in providing Character Formation and Industrial Skills Training.
